![]() ![]() ![]() I really want to use some Apps with Win10, now that I can run them on my desktop, but some of them will not work because the headset driver would need to have it's preamp settings adjusted (Really Corsair? Is this really so big a deal?). Windows just would not load unsigned APOs without that setting turned to 1. I then found out that EqualizerAPO needed the setting mentioned above in order to load. I thought nothing of it and set it to 0, but after a reboot, all those loudness problems reapeared: buzzing, blown eardrums with volume settings above 0.00000003 (figuratively), distortions, well. I started Googling and learned that both those Apps needed the registry value "DisableRestrictedAudio" set to "0" in order to work. I just tried to use the Windows 8/10 Netflix app because it's got 5.1 Sound.Įverytime I started a video, it would give me some error. ![]()
